Note: The ABC game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire aired in nightly installments from August 16, 1999 to August 28, 1999, November 7, 1999 to November 24, 1999 and from January 9, 2000 to January 15, 2000. It then became a three-nights-a-week series airing Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays on January 16, 2000.
PBS, the Public Broadcasting Service, was in operation, but the schedule was set by each local station.
